From November the 21^st to November the 26^th the Veterinary Specialized Institute “Kraljevo” hosted  Alexander Sprygin and Andrei Shotin from Federal Centre for Animal Health (FGBI “ARRIAH”), Vladimir, Russian Federation. The aim of the visit was to provide training on PCR diagnostics, virus isolation and sequencing of capripox viruses.The visit was the opportunity for sharing of knowledge and expertise in the epidemiology and laboratory diagnostics of Lumpy skin disease and African swine fever. Cooperation in the field of scientific research was agreed to expand, followed by publishing, the results peer-reviewed international journals. As part of the visit, guests had an opportunity to get to know the regional culture and hospitality, and to do the sightseeing in the Zica monastery and the medieval Maglic fortress.

The visit was carried out in accordance with the cooperation agreements signed by both parties in 2017 and 2022.
