From April the 16^th to 20^th 2018. dr Dejan Vidanovic took part on „Regional Meeting to Develop Strategies for Enhancing the Capacities for Detection and Differentiation of Vector/Vector Borne Diseases” as a part IAEA project RER/5/023, „Enhancing National Capabilities for Early and Rapid Detection of Priority Vector Borne Diseases of Animals (Including Zoonoses) by Means of Molecular Diagnostic Tools”.

The aim of the meeting was to estimate national capabilities for collecting of insects as vectors of human and animal transmissible diseases, their correct identification, epizootiological situation of vector borne diseases, presentation of diagnostic capacities and methods for detection of those diseases and specification of diseases and vectors which will be included by this project.
